Our senior partner Sarah Norkor Anku was a speaker at the just-ended three-day Judges and Intellectual Property (IP) Lawyers Colloquium on IP Enforcement in Swakopmund, Namibia, which was hosted by the African Regional Intellectual Property Organisation (ARIPO) Africa in partnership with the Intellectual Property Rights and Innovation in Africa (AfrIPI), the Government of the Republic of Namibia, represented by the Business Intellectual Property Authority (BIPA), and the United States Department of Justice.
This colloquium sought to shape the IP landscape in Africa by establishing a compendium of Africa’s IP rights case law from respective jurisdictions.

In this regard, efforts have been made to provide legal practitioners with pertinent IP information to make it easier for them to be informed of the most recent trends in IP litigation and enforcement across the continent and beyond.
